Teacher of the Year 2024 – Mr. Erald Pecson

John H. Woodson Junior High School proudly recognizes Mr. Erald Pecson as our Teacher of the Year 2024! A passionate and dedicated social studies teacher, Mr. Pecson brings history to life in the classroom, inspiring students to think critically about the world around them.

Originally from the Philippines, Mr. Pecson has made a significant impact on our school community through his leadership and commitment to student success. In addition to his excellence in teaching, he is one of the key organizers of American Education Week, playing a vital role in celebrating and promoting the importance of education.

Mr. Pecson also serves as one of the student council advisors, working alongside Mr. Deneal Charles to guide and mentor student leaders. His dedication to empowering students, fostering school spirit, and encouraging civic engagement makes him an invaluable member of our school family.

Sunshine Committee

The Sunshine Committee at John H. Woodson Junior High School is a dedicated group of faculty and staff committed to fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
